Namibia, a country in southwest Africa, is home to some of the most unique landscapes on earth. The Namibian landscape is both unforgiving and awe-inspiring. Visiting Namibia is a bucket list experience everyone should have tried at least once, if not repeatedly.
Discover Namibia at its compelling; hiking on the tallest and oldest dunes in the world allows you to appreciate its desolate beauty and vitality. The wildlife in Etosha National Park and the otherworldly landscapes, including Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Skitzkoppe are all unique experiences you are not likely to see anywhere else in the world. The northeastern corner of the country, the less explored area of Namibia, boasts a unique wildlife and natural environment completely different from the lower Namibia.
Sandwich Harbor, where the desert meets the ocean, is a natural wonder one must witness. Surfing down the dunes to the lagoon where flocks of pink flamingos congregate is an adventure. Seeing, listening to, and smelling the 200,000-plus seal colony at Cape Cross Seal Preservation is a fun and exciting encounter with the wildlife at a close range. It is also part of the world-renowned Skeleton Coast National Park, where you will see many shipwrecks.
Namibia is a vast country with unique characters that will liberate you from nature. Welcome to Namibia!

Once all luggage is collected, you will board our luxury coach and transfer to The Weinberg Hotel, your luxury accommodation for the night.
At 2:00 pm, you will go on a Windhoek City Tour to learn more about the Namibian Capital. On this tour, you will have a chance to visit some of Windhoek’s most highlighted landmarks, including the beautiful Christuskirche, Parliament Gardens, the National Museum, and visit to Nande Explorer Cultural Township. Your city tour will end in an open-air meat market in the Single Quarters in Katatura. You will find rows upon rows of vendors selling freshly grilled meats over an open flame and served hot with the infamous Kapana spice, usually with mild chili. Don’t let the informal cooking style put you off; these vendors know how to grill a tasty piece of meat.
After the city tour, you will be taken to one of Windhoek’s landmark dining venues, Joe’s Beer House, for a Welcome Dinner. We celebrate the opening of this exciting tour by enjoying a typical Namibia Braais (BBQ) meal. For this meal, we have selected a game meat-tasting menu as the main dish for you to try. You may order anything you like from the menu. Be aware that the serving portion is quite big.

Meal B, L, D
Windhoek – Kalahari
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be on a scenic drive to Kalahari Park
Situated on the Eastern fringes of Namibia, the red sands of the Kalahari beckon is the Kalahari Anib Lodge. There is nothing like feeling the good earth underfoot, so stretch your legs on the trails around the lodge, keeping your eyes open for springbok, zebra, and wildebeest, and take the chance to breathe in the character and energy of this distinctive area, feeling close to the land. The drive from Windhoek to Kalahari is approximately 3 hours; you will arrive in time for lunch.
After lunch, check into your room and enjoy the lodge grounds. In the late afternoon, explore the Kalahari Park with a Guided Sundowner Natural Drive and celebrate life atop a red Kalahari dune. Drink in the beauty of the Kalahari, where gemsbok flourishes and sociable weavers build gargantuan nests atop camelthorn trees. The optimum time to experience the Kalahari colors is when the sun dips in the late afternoon and lights up the sand as if glowing from an inner fire. Don’t miss this time of the day when the Earth seems to pause for Kalahari magic.
Dinner is served at the lodge.
Hotel The Desert Grace (https://store.gondwana-collection.com/accommodation/desert-grace) or similar
Meal B, L & D
Kalahari – Sesriem / Sossusvlei
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you will be on a scenic drive to Sesriem / Sossusvlei to visit the oldest desert in the world.
Situated in the largest conservation area in Africa, Sossusvlei is possibly Namibia’s most spectacular and best-known attraction. Characterized by the large red dunes that surround it. The dunes in this area are some of the highest in the world, reaching almost 400 meters, and are said to be the oldest desert in the world. You will stay at the beautiful lodge – The Desert Grace, for the next two nights.
Opened in 2018, The Desert Grace is built entirely using sandbags instead of bricks. Not only does this construction technique have a positive outcome for the environment, but it also makes the 24 chalets cooler and very well insulated.
This afternoon, you will go on a Guided Sundowner Sossusvlei Excursion to the highest dunes on Earth. These dunes form part of the spectacular Namib Sand Sea, which was declared a World Heritage site in 2013. At sunset, your guide will set up a picnic table with drinks and refreshments for you to watch the beautiful sunset over the dunes.
Dinner is served at the lodge.

Meal B, L & D
Sossusvlei / Deadvlei
After breakfast, we will leave for Guided Half-Day Sossusvlei Excursion visiting Deadvlei before the temperature gets too hot. To get to Big Daddy (the tallest dune in the world) and Deadvlei, you get to hike the red sand for approximately one and one-half km to reach the white clay pan of Deadvlei, where ancient trees are still standing. With the Big Daddy surrounding the white clay pan, many of the trees inside Deadvlei are more than 900 years old, with a few being much older than that. The burned trees, white clay pan, and red dunes make the visit to Deadvlei a once-in-your-lifetime experience.
Big Daddy is the tallest dune in the Sossusvlei area. It is measured at 325 meters it dwarfs the other dunes. The climb to the top of Big Daddy takes about 1 hour and is hard work as you keep slipping back in the sand. It is recommended that you do it in bare feet. You will have plenty of time to climb the dunes and enjoy the view from the top if you decide to hike up.
We will return to our luxury lodge in the early afternoon. You will have the rest of the day at leisure. Please enjoy the facilities and services the lodge has to offer.
Dinner is served at the lodge. After dinner, go on a Guided Scorpion Night Walk and prepare to be amazed by the sight of scorpions glowing in the dark under UV light.
